Research Cluster #2

“Quality in Postgraduate Education and Early Career Research Development in the Asia Pacific Region”

This research cluster developed out of the Senior Seminar held from March 24-26, 2014 at RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia.  Principal Investigators (PIs) from various countries were invited to present papers on issues related to quality postgraduate education and Early Career Research development.  The meeting resulted in a collaborative research project that aims to investigate the experiences and challenges facing overseas educated PhDs on their return to their home countries.  Findings of this research will be beneficial in developing efficient policy advice for the better support of Early Career Researchers (ECRs) across the region.
