“University-Community Engagement in the Asia-Pacific”
March 23-25, 2015
Kasetsart University
Bangkok, Thailand
The second Emergent Scholar Seminar was held in Bangkok at Kasetsart University, March 23-25, 2015. Attended by younger scholars from various APHERP institutions, participants presented work in response to an organizing concept paper prepared by the seminar coordinators Christopher Collins of Azusa Pacific University (APHERP Associate Director) and Deane Neubauer (APHERP Co-Director).
The 2.5 day seminar (for which the organizing concept paper appears below) is intended to assist younger scholars in developing papers suitable for international publication.
The first such seminar conducted at the National Higher Education Research Institute (IPPTN) of the Universiti Sains Malaysia in October 2014 has resulted in a book accepted for publication by Palgrave Macmillan.
